Cybertech Europe 2026, Salvatore Frosina on Class CNBC: DGS’s Three Growth Drivers

DGS Co-CEO Salvatore Frosina discusses the Group’s three cybersecurity growth drivers with Class CNBC: large enterprises, managed security services, and acquisitions.

In the Class CNBC special dedicated to Cybertech Europe 2026, Salvatore Frosina, Co-CEO of DGS, discussed the Group’s growth trajectory and the increasingly significant role of cybersecurity in its strategy, outlining three key areas through which DGS aims to strengthen its market presence.

The first focuses on large organizations, long-standing clients of the Group that manage critical infrastructure and have traditionally placed the greatest emphasis on cybersecurity investments. For these organizations, DGS continues to serve as a trusted partner, capable of protecting increasingly complex processes and systems.

The second growth driver, which has gained significant momentum in recent years, concerns private companies choosing to fully outsource their cybersecurity operations rather than build dedicated in-house capabilities. DGS addresses this need through both on-site operational teams and its Security Operations Centers in Rome and Milan, which provide continuous remote security monitoring and management.

The third driver is M&A, which remains central to the Group’s growth plans. Frosina highlighted the role of ICG, an international investment firm listed on the London Stock Exchange and DGS’s majority shareholder, in supporting the search for new companies to integrate into the Group. In an Italian market where high-quality acquisition targets are relatively scarce, the Co-CEO revealed that evaluations of two potential acquisitions are at an advanced stage.

This growth strategy further strengthens DGS’s positioning as a technology partner capable of supporting organizations with different needs and levels of maturity, combining organic growth with new opportunities for expansion.
