EASI ver. 3 certification is a voluntary recognition that assesses a company’s ability to manage ESG aspects in an integrated way through governance, policies, processes, roles, and controls. In DGS’s case, it was issued by DNV Business Assurance Italy after an independent assessment.
DGS has obtained the EASI® ver. 3 certification, a structured governance system for managing environmental and social impacts, issued by DNV Business Assurance Italy following an independent assessment of its management system.
What is EASI® ver. 3 certification?
EASI® (Integrated Sustainable Business Ecosystem) is a voluntary organizational model that assesses a company’s ability to manage ESG issues in an integrated and structured way. The model analyzes the consistency of the governance system with respect to environmental, social, and ethics and compliance aspects relevant to the organization.
The assessment is based on policies, processes, roles, and control tools, and does not focus on a single area. In this way, it makes it possible to view sustainability as part of the company’s overall governance system, with attention to the relationships between organizational elements and the management of ESG topics.
Why is version 3 relevant?
Version 3 of the model is the most recent and reflects the evolution of ESG governance practices. It particularly strengthens the focus on alignment between strategic directions, business processes, and stakeholder expectations, offering a more structured framework for assessing the management system.
For DGS, this step represents a third-party recognition of the path undertaken to strengthen sustainability safeguards. The certification covers in particular climate change, labor relations and working conditions, and corporate ethics and compliance, for the certified scope.
What value does it have for DGS?
DGS’s EASI certification is part of a structured path consistent with the other certifications already adopted by the group and with ongoing ESG initiatives. The result also provides a useful reference in relations with the shareholder, customers, and other relevant stakeholders.

This recognition confirms a governance approach oriented toward the integrated management of environmental and social impacts, according to a model that assesses not only individual areas, but also their overall consistency within the organization.

Who issued the certification?
The EASI® ver. 3 certification was issued by DNV Business Assurance Italy, following an independent assessment of DGS’s management system. The issuance by a third party strengthens the value of the result and confirms its nature as a recognition obtained through external verification.
