The evolution of cyber threats, the expansion of the attack surface and growing compliance requirements call for a security strategy that integrates technologies, expertise and processes. The collaboration between DGS and Fortinet supports organizations throughout their Security Journey, strengthening their ability to protect and govern data, identities, systems and infrastructure.
The expansion of the attack surface and the continuous evolution of cyber threats are making cybersecurity a strategic priority for business continuity and organizational resilience. Addressing this complexity requires an integrated approach that combines advanced technologies, specialist expertise and security across enterprise systems and processes.
DGS will participate as a strategic Fortinet partner in Fortinet Security Day 2026 in Rome, taking place on 7 October 2026 at the Roma Convention Center “La Nuvola”. The Rome event will be the first of two Italian editions attended by DGS. The Group will also participate in the event taking place on 28 October 2026 at Superstudio Maxi in Milan.
Fortinet Security Day Italy is one of Italy’s leading cybersecurity events. It brings together industry experts, institutions, stakeholders, partners and customers to examine emerging cyber threats, the expanding attack surface, regulatory compliance and data protection. The programme includes keynotes, in-depth sessions and opportunities for strategic discussion, with the aim of strengthening the security culture within organizations.
DGS’s participation highlights the complementary value of Fortinet technologies, the Group’s specialist expertise and its integration capabilities. The goal is to support companies and institutions throughout their Security Journey, building practical security strategies that respond to operational needs and strengthen Cyber Resilience.
Cybersecurity is also one of the pillars of Digital Sovereignty, understood as an organization’s ability to maintain control and governance over its digital ecosystem. Protecting data, identities, infrastructure and services through integrated risk management, continuous monitoring and access control helps strengthen security, decision-making autonomy and process continuity. From this perspective, the Security Journey becomes a progressive path shaped by the actual criticality of each organization’s data, systems and applications.
Throughout the day, DGS will welcome customers and prospects at booth 18. Participants will have the opportunity to meet the Group’s experts and discuss their security priorities, as well as the approaches needed to integrate protection, compliance and resilience into business processes.
DGS’s participation in Fortinet Security Day strengthens the collaboration between DGS and Fortinet, while creating an opportunity for discussion with organizations managing increasingly complex cyber risks. The event will provide a valuable setting to explore how technologies and expertise can be translated into integrated security strategies that protect the digital ecosystem, support business continuity and contribute to the Digital Sovereignty of companies and institutions.
