Physical AI in action

From Promises to Results: Physical AI Applied to Industrial Processes

29 september | 8 october | 21 october

From Agentic AI to Physical AI

Artificial Intelligence is evolving toward models that are increasingly capable of understanding context, orchestrating processes, and supporting complex decisions. This is the context in which Physical AI—an evolution of Generative AI and Agentic AI—fits in. It extends these capabilities beyond software and applies them to operational processes, connecting data, business systems, automation, and physical assets.

Physical AI is already a reality

While the market debates future opportunities and scenarios, the most innovative companies are already experimenting with solutions capable of observing, understanding, and acting in the physical world.

Through a series of three sessions, we’ll show you how this evolution is taking shape through concrete examples, real-world applications, and measurable results, taking artificial intelligence from the decision-making level to the operational level.

1st session: September 29, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Microsoft Teams Webinar

Agent-based AI has introduced systems capable of understanding context, defining objectives, and coordinating complex activities. Physical AI represents a further step forward: these same capabilities are extended to operational processes, enabling intelligent systems to interact with environments, assets, and production flows in an increasingly autonomous manner.

During the webinar, we will explore the fundamentals of this new paradigm, the challenges that are transforming the manufacturing sector, and the main areas of application. Through early real-world case studies, we will analyze how Physical AI can help improve efficiency, quality, and operational continuity, while also introducing the basics of the DGS approach to this topic.

2nd session: October 8, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Microsoft Teams Webinar

The second session is dedicated to application scenarios and the ways in which companies can turn this opportunity into concrete initiatives.

Through real-world use cases, we will demonstrate how Physical AI can be applied to inspection, quality assurance, logistics, and industrial automation, while also delving into the DGS approach—which is based on a dedicated lab, rapid validation, specialized expertise, and a service-based model.

3rd meeting: October 21

DGS FuoriSICAM, Fossa Mala Hotel - Pordenone

The series concludes at DGS FuoriSICAM, the DGS event dedicated to innovation in the furniture and subcontracting supply chain, scheduled for October 21 at the Fossa Mala Hotel in Pordenone.

After exploring scenarios, technologies, and adoption strategies in the webinars, we’ll meet in person to discuss the topics that emerged during the online sessions and see Physical AI in action. It will be an opportunity for dialogue and networking with DGS experts and industry professionals, transforming the discussions from the webinars into a direct exchange on business challenges and opportunities.
