Physical AI experience: where AI comes to life

In our networking area, you’ll have the opportunity to explore some of the technologies driving the evolution of Physical AI and understand how the convergence of artificial intelligence, robotics, and automation is redefining the relationship between digital systems and real-world processes.

The star of the experience will be Unitree G1, one of the most advanced humanoid robots available today, which will offer a tangible demonstration of the potential of the new generation of intelligent systems. Through demos and dedicated content, we’ll show how Physical AI and Secure AI technologies are evolving from the simple ability to analyze information to the capacity to observe, understand, and act within complex operational contexts.

This is an opportunity to explore the role these technologies can play in transforming industrial processes and to discuss with the DGS team topics that connect innovation, technological autonomy, and the governance of intelligent systems.

We’ll be located near the TV Corner in front of the Plenary Hall, where DGS will present at the panel discussion on the morning of October 16.

Europe: A Hub for Innovation

Between Digital Sovereignty, Secure AI, and Physical AI

Artificial Intelligence is redefining the way businesses and institutions plan, make decisions, and innovate. Against this backdrop, DGS brings to the Digital Innovation Forum a vision that combines AI, cybersecurity, the cloud, data, and domain expertise to guide organizations toward a practical, secure, and sustainable adoption of emerging technologies.

Our approach stems from a clear conviction: the value of AI is not measured solely by the power of its models, but by the ability to govern its use, data, processes, and impacts. This is why DGS promotes “Sovereign Trusted Intelligence”—a reliable, transparent, and business-objective-oriented intelligence, supported by robust Governance & Protection practices that ensure control, security, and compliance throughout the entire lifecycle of digital solutions. All of this rests on an open, governable “Sovereign Technology Stack” designed to preserve technological autonomy and freedom of choice. It is in this context that DGS positions itself as an enabler of digital innovation, supporting companies and institutions in building ecosystems where competitiveness, resilience, and technological autonomy can grow together.

At the Digital Innovation Forum, DGS will bring to the forefront of the discussion some of the issues that are currently redefining Europe’s competitiveness, resilience, and strategic autonomy. From digital sovereignty to Secure AI, and on to the new frontiers of Physical AI, the discussion will focus on the ability to govern data, infrastructure, technologies, and intelligent systems in a landscape characterized by growing geopolitical complexity and accelerating technological change.

Digital Sovereignty

Governing Innovation in the Age of AI

In the age of AI, digital sovereignty does not mean shutting oneself off from global technologies, but rather having the freedom to choose how to adopt and use them, while maintaining control over critical data, infrastructure, models, and processes. It means being able to innovate without sacrificing transparency, security, compliance, and autonomy in technological decision-making.

For DGS, digital sovereignty today represents a strategic lever for businesses and public administrations called upon to operate in a landscape increasingly marked by technological interdependencies, new regulations, and geopolitical shifts. In this context, the real challenge is not to replace existing technologies, but to govern them: to strike the right balance between innovation, control, security, and compliance, based on each organization’s objectives and level of criticality.

DGS positions itself as a Sovereign Enabler—the orchestrator that empowers businesses and institutions to govern data, AI, and infrastructure with full digital sovereignty.

Thanks to our distinctive expertise in cybersecurity, cloud, open source, data platforms, AI, and governance, we design and orchestrate secure, resilient, and compliant digital ecosystems by combining the best available technologies and ensuring control over them throughout their entire lifecycle.

The goal is to enable organizations to drive innovation while maintaining full control over their strategic assets. Because the real challenge isn’t simply accessing AI, but understanding it, controlling it, and orchestrating it within a reliable, governable ecosystem focused on creating long-term value.

Digital Sovereignty

Physical AI

The New Frontier of Industrial Transformation

While the market is still debating scenarios and prospects, Physical AI is already an evolving reality. The convergence of artificial intelligence, automation, and physical systems is ushering in a new phase of industrial transformation, in which data, algorithms, and decision-making capabilities are no longer confined to the digital realm but extend directly to operational processes and real-world environments.

In our networking lounge area, you’ll have the opportunity to explore up close some of the technologies driving this evolution and understand their potential impact on industry, infrastructure, and strategic sectors. The demonstrations presented will offer a concrete illustration of how Artificial Intelligence is progressively acquiring the ability to observe, understand, and interact with the physical world, opening up new prospects for advanced automation, human-machine collaboration, and the transformation of industrial processes.

For DGS, Physical AI represents one of the most significant trajectories of European industrial transformation.

This transformation is not merely about the evolution of technologies, but about the ability to combine innovation, digital sovereignty, and cybersecurity into a model where data, algorithms, and intelligent systems can operate securely, in a governed manner, and with resilience. It is in this convergence of artificial intelligence, strategic asset control, and the protection of critical processes that some of the greatest challenges—but also the most significant opportunities—for businesses and institutions lie today.

Secure AI

Governing and Protecting the Digital Ecosystem

For DGS, security is a cross-cutting element that accompanies every phase of digital transformation, from data and identity protection to the defense of critical applications, infrastructure, and processes. In a landscape characterized by increasing interconnectivity among users, systems, platforms, and strategic assets, cybersecurity becomes the necessary prerequisite for ensuring operational continuity, resilience, compliance, and trust throughout the entire digital ecosystem.

Through an integrated approach that combines Governance & Compliance, identity and access protection, application security, infrastructure defense, continuous monitoring, and Managed Security Services, DGS supports businesses and institutions in managing increasingly complex risks. These capabilities are complemented by a growing focus on AI Security to ensure that the adoption of intelligent models and systems occurs in a secure, controlled, and compliant manner.

The growing focus on digital sovereignty makes this issue even more relevant: governing data, infrastructure, and technologies also means protecting them, ensuring control, resilience, and a reduction in strategic dependencies. At the same time, the evolution toward Physical AI extends the scope of security to autonomous systems, operational environments, and physical processes, requiring new models of protection and governance. In this context, cybersecurity is not merely a defensive measure but an enabling lever for building secure, reliable digital ecosystems capable of sustaining innovation over the long term.
