Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: the DGS DE&I Policy and its key objectives.

DGS celebrates an essential element of its corporate journey: the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Policy. This policy represents the group’s clear commitment to the highest standards of gender equality, helping to create a fair, inclusive and respectful working environment.

DGS S.p.A. has adhered to the UNI/PdR 125:2022 standard on ‘Gender Equality’ and the ISO 30415:2021 standard on ‘Diversity and Inclusion’. This commitment reflects the will to respect high ethical and professional standards, involving not only people within the organisation, but also all other stakeholders. It is not just a formal commitment, but a shared responsibility involving every individual.

The objectives of the DE&I Policy include:

  • Fostering and promoting a culture of diversity, which is fundamental to the equality and inclusion that the DGS Group promotes in its way of working.
  • Guarantee each employee equal conditions and opportunities, without discrimination based on age, sex/gender and gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity/culture, religion, physical condition and disability, economic condition, trade union/political opinions and other aspects.
  • Informing all workers of their rights and duties in order to prevent and remove any discriminatory behaviour, promoting a working climate that ensures respect for everyone’s dignity.

In order to honour and fulfil these commitments, the company, starting with the management, has equipped itself with objectives on the subject, organisational supervision, active participation mechanisms and monitoring and control tools.

DGS, which has been a member of the Global Compact since 2023, refers to the constitutional principles of equality between men and women on Equal Opportunities, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the DGS group Ethical Code.
