Foscarini is a leading Italian company in the world of decorative design lighting. For more than 40 years, Foscarini has created authentic lighting icons in collaboration with internationally renowned designers.
The high quality standards required by the market and an extensive network of suppliers and partners made precise supply chain control essential.
In particular, Foscarini needed to manage all components — sell-in products, spare parts and projects — in terms of both product and quantity mix and financial impact, following a top-down approach.
The key objectives were to improve forecasting accuracy and strengthen relationships with supply chain partners.

Foscarini selected the Open Square supplier portal and DGS’s ComplEtE® Suite to optimize the entire supply chain process through a collaborative, AI-driven experience.
The project included the implementation of a Demand Management solution to support collaborative demand planning and forecasting.
The introduction of a DRP system enabled more accurate and streamlined management of distribution processes.
The Advanced Planning System module supports the management of finite-capacity subcontractors and material suppliers with specific lead times. It also includes workflows for order negotiation, document management and continuous monitoring of progress and changes.
