Together with DGS, an international audio-video broadcasting organization built an AI assistant ecosystem to support Procurement activities, involving more than 100 employees.
Impact: DGS improves the information search and consultation experience
The project made regulatory and procedural information from heterogeneous sources immediately accessible, significantly improving the search and consultation experience. Through specialized AI assistants, users can access reliable, contextualized content, reducing the time required to find relevant information and increasing Procurement productivity.
The initiative also enhanced the value of the organization’s information assets, promoting greater regulatory compliance, higher operational efficiency and more structured knowledge management to support decision-making processes.

Challenge: from fragmented information to a single access point
A leading European public service broadcasting and multimedia organization, engaged in a broad digital innovation journey, needed to improve access to and consultation of its information assets in support of Procurement and compliance activities.
The initial environment was characterized by regulatory and procedural content distributed across different internal and external sources, with fragmented and inefficient search processes. The need to quickly identify up-to-date regulations, policies and procedures represented an operational challenge affecting productivity and the effectiveness of decision-making.
The objective was therefore to simplify access to information, enhance corporate knowledge and provide users involved in Procurement activities with reliable, contextualized answers.

Solution: DGS AI Procurement Knowledge Advisor
DGS launched a Data & AI project built on the Microsoft Azure AI Foundry ecosystem. The solution, named Procurement Knowledge Advisor, introduces a system of specialized conversational assistants capable of simultaneously integrating and querying internal information sources, institutional websites and official regulatory references.
Users can select the assistant best suited to their operating context and obtain accurate, consistent and contextualized answers through an intuitive conversational interface.
The platform is also part of a broader evolution toward an agentic Procurement model, including capabilities dedicated to tender management, bid analysis, cost control and support in preparing contractual documentation.
