The ComplEtE® Supply Chain Innovation Day is back: Innovation, Technology and Digital Revolution at MUDEC in Milan.

The event dedicated to innovation in the Supply Chain, organized by DGS in collaboration with Engineering and Microsoft, comes to Milan on October 25th. An unmissable opportunity to revolutionize business management with ComplEtE®.

Rome, October 10th, 2023 – After the success of its first edition held last year at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, the ComplEtE® Supply Chain Innovation Day 2023 is ready to “light up” Milan with a day entirely dedicated to the technological evolution and digital revolution that are transforming the Supply Chain world. The event, organized by DGS in collaboration with Engineering and Microsoft, is aimed at companies and partners, offering all participants a unique opportunity for discussion, learning and networking on the latest innovations in the sector.

The location chosen for the event is the evocative MUDEC – Museo delle Culture, located at 56 Via Tortona, one of the city’s most prestigious museums, known for its fascinating restoration of industrial archaeology, designed by the British architect David Chipperfield, and recognised by The New York Times as one of the places not to be missed.

During the day of October 25th, Stefano Fazio, Pre-Sales Manager & Solution Expert at DGS, Marco Genta, Practice Manager Supply Chain Solutions at DGS – both part of the ComplEtE® team – and Nicola Gulli, Industry Market Director at DGS, will join representatives from leading academic institutions and partners, including Daniele Burdese, Senior Technical Manager at Engineering, Andrea D’Onofrio, Marketing Lead for Data, Analytics & AI at Microsoft, and Giovanni Miragliotta, Lecturer and Co-Director of the AI Observatory at the Politecnico di Milano, to explore strategies for reshaping industrial processes, focused on automation and radical innovation, through the use of Artificial Intelligence, and offer an overview of how DGS supports companies in their digital transformation process.

The event will address the challenges and opportunities related to innovation in the supply chain, emphasising the need to adapt to profound changes in organisational processes, skills and business models. Manufacturing companies are faced with a complex task: expanding to new customers, plants and suppliers, while reducing reaction times and maintaining high service levels. Efficient sharing of information between different business functions is one of the main challenges.

ComplEtE®is a state-of-the-art solution for optimising supply chain management, exploiting the full potential of modern technologies and advanced Artificial Intelligence algorithms. This innovative cloud-based platform is designed to efficiently replicate the entire business value chain, ensuring optimal performance and significantly reducing overall lead time. Thanks to its services that are integrated into a single platform, but can also be used individually according to specific customer needs, ComplEtE® is able to successfully address key supply chain management challenges.

The focal point of the event will be the Round Table “The new Supply Chain between uncertainty and reactivity“, moderated by Flavio Tonelli, Full Professor of Mechanical Plants and Industrial System Engineering DIME of the University of Genoa. During this session, DGS customers will share their experiences and testimonies on the effectiveness of ComplEtE®, the Azure cloud-based solution, in favouring the harmonisation of apparently divergent strategies and in optimising the synergy between business functions, thus improving decision-making processes and reducing waste of resources and time.

Speakers at the event include representatives from leading companies such as Giovanni Brenna, Supply Chain Director of Fratelli Polli, Pier Luigi Cavicchi, End to End Logistic Excellence Project of Clivet, Manuel Cremaschi, Head of Operation of Fabiana Filippi, Alberto Gavioli, Director of Operations of Ocme, Luca Greco, Group Chief Information Officer of Salov, and Lorenzo Poloni, ICT Director R&D, Supply Chain and Operations of Ariston Group.

In addition, participants will have the opportunity to enrich their cultural experience with an exclusive visit to the exhibition ‘Vincent van Gogh, Cultured Painter’.
