DGS – 2023 Kick off: we fly high and it’s just the beginning!

The first Kick off in the history of the DGS group took place last 17 and 20 January 2023. 

The event brought together in two exceptional locations, in Rome at the Auditorium Parco della Musica and in Milan at the East End Studios Antological Space, most of our more than 1700 people coming from all the locations of central-south and northernItaly. 

2022 was an important year for our group, which after the latest corporate acquisitions has now reached 12 highly specialized companies that have enriched and strengthened our offer portfolio in the field of Cyber security, Digital Solutions and Management Advisory and proprietary solutions (P 365 ERP, P 4 Loyalty, P 4 Clienteling, P 4 HR, @Utilities, ComplEtE®, Open Square, Digital Lake), increasing our cross-selling opportunities on different markets, and expanded our geographical coverage in Italy. 

The event, therefore, was a unique opportunity to celebrate the goals achieved and launch the group’s operations in the new organization aimed at reflecting the recent corporate transformation, as well as an important moment to meet and get to know the many people who are now an integral part of our great team! 

During the Kick off, the Chief Executive Officers Vincenzo Fiengo and Salvatore Frosina confirmed the ambitious goal of climbing the TOP100 Software and IT Services Ranking over the next two years – edited for Data Manager by IDC (International Data Corporation) – to reach the Top 10 from the current 26th place (2022 Edition). 

The new corporate organization was also presented – made necessary by the enlargement of our offer portfolio to increase the value we bring to customers – in 22 Centers of Competence (CDC), each belonging to our 3 business sectors: 

  • Digital Solutions: ServiceNow, SAP, System & Application Management, Microsoft, Education, SAGE, PLM, Open Square, Opensource Liferay, Services Design UX/UI, New Generation SW Labs, R&D. 
  • Cyber Security: Application Security, Zero Trust, ICS & IoT Protection, Security Governance, Assurance & Maintenance, Cyber Defense. 
  • Advisory: ICT Strategy & Governance, Process Excellence, Cyber & Data Protection. 

But it is only thanks to our people that DGS has come this far. For this reason, we wanted to take a moment during our kick off, the DGS Awards, to recognize the incredible results achieved by our colleagues, our teams and their team leaders over the past year.

Everything took place in the name of fun and good music thanks to an exceptional “conductor”, Pino Insegno, who together with all the other guest artists of the evening: Nicole Magolie, Gabriele Mago Gentile, the Baraonna and Cluster Vocal, made the day even more unforgettable.
