Alessandra Arezza of DGS speaker at IoT Week Dublin

The impact of IoT, Digital Twin and Artificial Intelligence in the transformation of the process industry towards a circular economy development model.

Alessandra Arezza, R&D Manager at DGS, has been selected as a speaker at IoT Week 2022, which will take place in Dublin from 20-23 June at Croke Park Meetings & Events.

The event is geared towards defining and researching the impact of IoT tools on Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, quantum computing, AR/VR, Robotics and new digital innovations. It will show how the future of IoT can undoubtedly create a positive evolution in all business sectors, improving the way we live and work in a safer and more sustainable way.

Alessandra will speak on 22 June at 11:00 am in the session ‘EU Industrial IOT Platforms and Industrial Cases for Circular Manufacturing‘ dedicated to pioneering case studies in the application of IoT technologies. In particular, she will describe the case study of the symbiotic industry in the production of zinc alloys, highlighting how IoT tools, Digital Twin and Artificial Intelligence methodologies can successfully drive the process industry towards circular economy goals.

In the same session, dedicated to cases of outstanding experiences in the field of circular production, opportunities and challenges towards an effective circular economy will be assessed, considering the circular economy in Industry 5.0, Global Pandemics and Value Chains, and Artificial Intelligence-enabled Digital Twins for Circularity.
