DGS Brings Artificial Intelligence to the Mnemosine Conference on Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and Digital Innovation

On September 19, 2025, the conference “Casale Monferrato: Continuing the Fight Against Alzheimer’s and Dementia” takes place at the Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Sobrero in Casale Monferrato, as part of the annual Mnemosine project.
This initiative brings together institutions, researchers, and healthcare professionals, with a particular focus on scientific outreach aimed at young students. The goal is not only to take stock of progress in research and care models for neurodegenerative diseases, but also to raise awareness among younger generations about the value of prevention and the impact that technological innovation has on people’s lives and communities.
As part of the day’s program, Lorena Gurra, Research Project Manager at DGS, will speak on the topic “Computer Science for New Scientific and Medical Applications”, illustrating how the solutions developed by DGS, within funded both past and ongoing projects, are translated into practical tools that support clinicians in prevention and early diagnosis processes. This approach demonstrates how applied research and collaboration among different stakeholders in the system can open new perspectives for public health.
Through its participation in the Mnemosine Conference, DGS reaffirms its commitment to R&D and the creation of advanced digital solutions, serving not only businesses but society as a whole. This commitment looks to the future of healthcare and is accompanied by a desire to promote a scientific culture that is open, inclusive, and attentive to the challenges faced by new generations.
